How to Play Number Match

Clear every numbered tile. Select one tile, then a second tile. A valid pair uses the same number or two numbers that add up to 10, and the two tiles must have a clear straight connection.

Valid pairs

1. Match two equal numbers, such as 3 + 3 or 7 + 7.
2. Or match two numbers that add up to 10: 1+9, 2+8, 3+7, 4+6. Twins like 5+5 also work.

How tiles connect

• Pairs can connect horizontally, vertically, or diagonally in a straight line when no numbered tile sits between them. Empty spaces do not block the line.
• A horizontal connection follows the board’s reading order. The last available number in one row can connect to the first available number in a later row when every space between them is empty.
• A numbered tile between the pair blocks the match. Choose another pair, or clear the tile in the way first.

Controls

• Add numbers takes every uncleared tile in reading order and appends one copy of those numbers after the current board. Cleared spaces stay where they are. You can use it as often as you need. Adding numbers also resets your combo.
• Hint highlights one valid pair. Each new game includes 3 hints.
• Undo steps back one move, including an Add numbers action.
• New Game starts a fresh randomized board. The game asks you to confirm first.

Score

Each match scores 10 points, plus 5 more for every match in a row after the first. Clearing the last two tiles adds a 200-point bonus. Your best score and recent games are saved on this device. Open Scoreboard on the game page to see them, or to clear that saved data.
