Privacy Policy

This policy describes what Number Matchy (numbermatchy.com) does with information when you play the game or get in touch. The site does not ask you to create an account.

Information stored in your browser

Scores and game stats stay on your device in local storage. That includes games played, wins, best score, best winning time, total points, and a short list of recent games. Number Matchy does not receive that data and does not run an account system for it.

You can erase it from the game page: open Scoreboard and choose Clear saved data. You can also clear site data for numbermatchy.com in your browser settings.

Google Analytics

The site uses Google Analytics (measurement ID G-S9DFX65KJV) to understand how the site is used, such as which pages are opened and general device and browser information. Google may set cookies, including cookies that start with _ga, and process that information under its own policies.

The Analytics script loads after the page has finished loading. You can limit this with your browser’s cookie settings, a browser extension that blocks analytics, orGoogle’s Analytics opt-out. Google’s policy is atpolicies.google.com/privacy.

Contact form

The contact page links to a Google Form. If you submit that form, the information you enter is sent to Google and then to me. I use it to read your message. I do not use the form to build a mailing list. Google’s handling of form submissions is covered byGoogle’s privacy policy.

What this site does not do

  • It does not ask for your name, email address, or payment details in order to play.
  • It does not sell personal information.
  • It does not show third-party ads.

Children

Number Matchy can be played without providing personal information. The site does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child sent personal information through the contact form, use that same form to ask me to delete it.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
